Halon fire extinguishers are great for small aircraft! Halon is a "Clean Agent" – an electrically non-conducting, gaseous fire extinguishant that does not leave a residue upon evaporation.

Halon is extraordinarily effective in putting out flammable liquid and electrical fires. As a liquefied gas, Halon is able to effectively fight hard to reach fires by breaking the chain reaction of a fire, disrupting the combustion.

Our Halon fire extinguishers are UL listed and FAA-accepted per FAA Advisory Circular: AC 20-42D Hand Fire Extinguishers for Use in Aircraft. They contain Halon 1211 recycled in accordance with the Montreal Protocol.
